Dance Classes By Age

Creative Conservatory offers age-based dance classes in Walled Lake, MI that grow with your dancer — whether they’re just starting out or training at a pre-professional level. Our structured curriculum is designed to meet students where they are developmentally and support growth across all disciplines.

Toddler & Preschool (Ages 2.5–5)
Our youngest students explore movement and imagination in a joyful environment. These foundational classes focus on rhythm, balance, coordination, and confidence-building, all while introducing age-appropriate ballet and creative movement concepts.

Elementary (Ages 6–9)
Dancers begin building technical skills in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. This is the stage where focus, musicality, and strength are developed — setting the stage for more serious training if they choose.

Tween (Ages 10–12)
Training becomes more focused as students deepen their technique and explore new styles. This level often serves as a bridge into one of our specialized programs such as our Études Ballet Company or Performance Company.

Teen (Ages 13–18)
We offer both recreational and pre-professional classes for teens — ideal for those exploring their passion or preparing for a future in dance.

Adult

We offer classes for recreational adults in ballet, jazz and yoga.

Flexible Placement
Placement is based on ability, not just age. Our experienced instructors evaluate each dancer’s needs to ensure proper level placement, maximizing both confidence and growth.
