PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

Our Pre-Professional Program is tailored for students with advanced goals in ballet and all styles of dance. This conservatory-level training track prepares dancers for auditions, college programs, and future careers in the arts. Dancers participate in technique classes, performance training, guest artist workshops, and leadership opportunities.

We emphasize:

ÉTUDES BALLET COMPANY

Designed for our most serious ballet dancers, the Études Ballet Company provides additional performance and technical training within a company setting. Dancers explore classical and contemporary repertoire, develop performance artistry, and grow as leaders in our dance community.

PERFORMING COMPANY

The Creative Conservatory Performance Company provides students with opportunities to perform in a variety of dance styles, including tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical, and ballroom. This company is ideal for students who enjoy performing and want to gain experience in different genres. The Études Performance Company offers:

  • Regular performance opportunities in community events, competitions, and showcases.

TRIPLE THREAT DANCE COMPANY

The Triple Threat Dance Company is a training and performance opportunity for dancers ages six and up who train in Ballet, Tap and Jazz classes. Dancers in the Triple Threat Company are training to join the Creative Conservatory Performance Company, in addition to working on the life and job skills that truly set our students apart. Young artists are given the opportunity to perform in shows with the Creative Conservatory Performing Company throughout the year.

CERTIFICATIONS

ABT® National Training Curriculum

Hope Daniel, Creative Director of the Creative Conservatory, is proud to use in her ballet classes the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 9-level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Pre-Primary through Level 5 are taught by certified teacher, Hope Daniel, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Miss Hope has proudly completed five years of intensive training in this highly effective method.

Progressing Ballet Technique

Hope Daniel has received a training certification in Progressing Ballet Technique. This certification exemplifies excellence in junior, senior, and advanced level training programs. The Progressing Ballet Technique certification demonstrates an understanding of ballet exercises in relation to creation, breakdown, age relevance, muscle group activation, and muscle memory. This certification dives deep into the understanding of muscle memory through “turn out”, “adage movements”, “allegro”, “batterie”, and controlled landings with artistic movement.
