Performances & Recitals

  • Do students perform in recitals?

    • Yes. Most students participate in our year-end performance, with additional opportunities available.

  • Is there a costume fee?

    • Yes. Costume fees are billed separately per class and are announced in advance.

  • Are there other performance opportunities?

    • Absolutely. Dancers in company programs may perform at community events, competitions, and regional showcases.

Studio Policies

  • What is your attendance policy?

    • Consistent attendance is expected, especially for performance groups. Excessive absences may affect casting.

  • Can parents observe class?

    • We have a video monitor in our lobby available throughout the year to allow families to see their dancer’s progress.

  • What should dancers wear?

    • Each style has a different dress code. Ballet requires leotards, tights, and ballet slippers. Other styles may vary. Full details are available at registration.

  • How do you support dancer health?

    • We incorporate injury-prevention techniques, focus on safe stretching, and offer Progressing Ballet Technique and other wellness tools.

  • How do you support mental wellness?

    • We foster a positive, nurturing environment that values each dancer’s mind, body, and spirit.

  • What is the Pre-Professional Program?

    • It’s a focused training track for dancers pursuing elite performance, conservatory, or collegiate opportunities.
