Mini FAQ: New to Dance

  • What should my child wear to their first dance class? 

    • Comfortable clothes they can move in! Once registered, we’ll share our dress code by class type.

  • Do we need dance shoes right away? 

    • Not for the first class. We’ll let you know what’s required after your trial.

  • Is my child too old to start dance? 

    • Absolutely not! We welcome beginners of all ages.

  • What style should we start with? 

    • Ballet offers great foundations, but jazz or tap may also be a fun fit depending on your child’s personality.
